Refresh rate+det 40.xx

I don't know why, but with the detonator 40.xx drivers(i have tried 40.41 and 40.52 my monitor can't run at a higher refresh rate than 85hz! Does anyone have a similar problem or a solution? I have refresh lock(maybe i need a newer version for these drivers?) but even under windows i can't get 100hz(although i have set the monitor rr-from monitor in display properties to 100):(

thats weird, refresh lock should work, i fixed my refresh rates with nVidia Refresh Rate Fix MKII v2.00, its a regestry fix, hard to get rid of, but if set up right works nicely

Nvidia Refresh Rate Utility 1.o will not work well with Detonator 40x series or XP too well... same goes for older versions of Power Strip.

I had problems with the refresh rate lock on all the 40.xx dets so far, so I am sticking with an older version of Powerstrip that I have.

I use Rivatuner for my oc and everything seems to get along fine.
