Merge Microsoft OS + Other Software?

People posting in Other Software doesn't get the attention they need. People posting in IE Help in the OS section when it's suppose to go in Other Software get much faster, resourceful help than it would really be. The Other Software forum doesn't get as much traffic either. We should be looking at ways to cut back on forums and it would be abit easier on the mods so they moderate one section instead of 2.

Just a suggestion. Comments?

M$ software and "all other" is a pretty big difference. Being defined as MS OS' and Other OS' should cover everything?

I myself and quite a few others drop into Other Software on a regular basis.

I don't really think there's a need to merge them. I think things might get confused doing that.

It could be like "Microsoft Operating Systems and Windows Related Programs/Applications." Ya just need a shorter form.. hmmm.

I'll second that, the other software section receives by far the least traffic
