hey

Ive seemed to reach the limit for my memory (512mb corsairxms Cas2), wich are running at 438mhz atm @ 2-3-3-7 timings and 2.9v

I saw a guy who were running 3.2V @ his memory... how do i do his trick, my motherboard is an asus p4b533-e.

Would really appriciate any help, since im this |--| far from reaching the 2.9ghz, just really wouldnt clock my memory down to 350mhz to et there :| so i kinda need like about 10 more mhz from them and are hoping this mod would help me reach that goal.

Thnx in advance and have a nice day whereever ur going :)

Yeap....Here I am.....Well I'll post you some shots of the mobo to understand that....It's too easy to do it(if you have soldered before)....or take your mobo to an electronic engineer to solder it for you.....cheers....

Well.....I'm back again..... :D

I post you two photos of the Mod.....The first one is "were to put a resistor on and the second one is excactly how to put it on.....

The resistor is 4,7Kohms(4700ohms) 1%.......With this resistor you get :
1) When put the ASUS bios to "say" 2,6V it is 2,67V accualy , you get 2,91Volts

2) When put the ASUS bios to "say" 2,7V it is 2,705V accualy , you get 3,05Volts

3) When put the ASUS bios to "say" 2,9V it is 2,91V accualy , you get 3,21Volts

Cheers.....:D
