Is ANYONE using thoroughbreds in SMP?
If so, please post your system specs here. And if your thoroughbreds were not MP's, how did you get them to work that way?

A throughbred 2200 MP was released a while ago. Based on the old A core. Very expensive though.

I'm pretty sure I saw a guy running dual XP2200's a while back (after the 2200 first came out) on a Tyan S2466-4M over at 2CPU.com's forums.....

ok just found out...YES YOU CAN use the tbreds in SMP....but I only know one board that supports them....the MSI k7D Master will support them in steppings of 2000+ 2200+ 2400+ 2600+...all you have to is update the BIOS to version 1.5

Hope this helps....HERE (http://www.msi.com.tw/program/support/bios/bos/spt_bos_detail.php?UID=73&NAME=MS-6501) is the link to the update for the BIOS

Ok, nice, but has anyone gotten thoroughbred XP's to work in MP configuration? That doesn't exactly say that they do... And I've heard rumors that, unlike palominos, with thoroughbreds, only MP's will work in dual configuration. I want to run dual 2400XP's. Imagine 5ghz of raw AMD power!

5 GHz?

IF they overclock that high.

OK,here's a bump for a question... is anyone using T-breds that are NOT labeled as MP's in a duallie?
