Changin to new size

In a couple of weeks I am going to get a new pump and I want to have 1/2 pipe all around my system to improve water flow, but my danger den waterblock is 3/8 inch fitting is there any way to get around this.

i mean 1/4 inch tubing i think

The DD blocks have 3/8" barbs on them...if you're using 1/2" tubing you could just stick it on there (yeah, it'll be loose) and just clamp it down. If you're using 1/4" (not sure which size you were referring to with that) then you could attempt to stick it on there (hopefully there is some elasticity in you tubing) or buy a converter from your local home improvement store...though 1/4" will certainly not improve you flow so I'm assuming you didn't really mean that and I'll stop babbling now cause I'm sure you're sick of it and it's probably really annoying it is to me anyway so I'll stop.

i dont know what the hell i was talking about with the1/4 inch tubing thats not what i am using. Babling is not a bad thing.

Basically the 3/8 inch fitting of the danger den waterblock is still going to serve as a bottleneck preventing your water to flow faster. Although, for that matter, the inside of the waterblock may actually cause more back pressure, making the size of the fittings unimportant.

Anyway, what will happen is this: the water will flow faster through the waterblock than the rest of the system. That's because more water has to be shoved through a smaller area. Once the water leaves the water block and hits the wider tubing it will slow down since there is more area for it to flow through and doesn't need to go as fast. What's good about this is if you have a radiator that can accept 1/2 inch tubing, the water should flow slower through it, thus increasing your cooling performance (provided the radiator itself has a wide enough flow inside).

Other than that, I'm not sure going to 1/2 inch tubing is going to accomplish much of anything. I don't think you can actually increase the flow of the water through the waterblock because that is probably already limited by the strength of your pump.

I'm by no means an expert on this, though, so I could be wrong.
