I think I'm gonna get a MSI 128mb Ti4200. So how is the cooling the put on this card? Wimpy or pretty good? What would be better to put on it?
The MSI stock cooling on that particular card is very good. It comes with a nice copper heat sink that can last you a long damn time. I don't have that particular card myself but I know people who do and they run fine on stock.
They have about a 320/600 on theirs (core/ram) and its still pretty good. The temps aren't too bad, but hey thats just my opinion.
the msi does NOT come with a copper hs. but its still got good cooling.
my ti4400 does 320/650 on stock cooling.
My MSI Ti4200 is 300/500, without ever glitching or tearing or overheating or anything. Never pushed it further, so I dont know how much room it has... Should prolyl get to 320/550 at least though.

I'd say the cooling (Assuming it's the same as the 64mb version) is very good. No tearing or freezing up even at 315/630.
