Getting the itch to hot 3ghz. I can pick up one of these for ~$250. Any stories out there? I am running Mr. N's "D" BIOS and have 4 pins wrapped on my 2.0A.

Questions:

Will this BIOS run the chip out of the box?

Do I wrap the same pins to achieve the same results?

I can't remember this, does the "D" bios go up to 1.85 volts w/o pin wrapping?

Please share experiences.

Not much expeience of TH7-II, but have this chip on my BG7 and have run in P4T-533.
3gig should be easily acheiveable, the chip has same pins as the earlier northwoods so vcore mod is the same pins, although it may give a different voltage as the default is 1.525 on that CPU.
My P4T-533 allows .025v more than on earlier northwoods using this CPU.

Thanks Marko. It looks like I may want to wait for the 2.2a C1 stepping to hit the streets.
