Just spent the last 4hrs trying to unlock my xp2000. I followed the instructions but everytime i covered each bridge to work on the next it would come off with the tape. I let the conductive paint dry for half an hr after connecting each bridge but to no avail.
I've scratched the processor so badly its hard to distinguish between the bridges and surface of the chip so i decided to leave to the professionals.
I managed to fill the pits in with glue but didnt get to unlock the processor.
i think i should stick to just rasing the bus speed instead now that i've got a cosmetically damaged chip that will have no resale value.
I have an Abit-Kr7A-133 motherboard and i cant get my clock speed at 1800 its starts to get unstable and even switched off once. Is it because i have A Western digital hard drive?
