Hey all,
I'm new to overclocking and am wondering what temperatures thing like my video card, RAM, and motherboard should be at. I know what my cpu should run at, but am not sure about these other things. Also, is there any software/hardware that I can get to monitor the temperatures of my RAM and video card? I have a program the monitors my cpu and motherboard, but not my RAM and video card. Any help would be great.

AFAIK, RAM and vid card GPUs do NOT have a built in thermo sensor. You must get an external temperature monitor like a Digidoc 5, and manually attach a sensor to the RAM and GPU. And with that, your sensor thing would probably fit in a drive bay with an LCD to show you those temps of the sensors you attached.

Video Cards should come with sufficient cooling to allow them to run OK at stock speeds. Rather than fiddle about with sensors and stuff, sticking a slot fan next to it should do OK.

Welcome to the Forums!

As far as temp monitoring goes- I don't know of any video or ram temp. monitoring besides external sensors either, but a digidoc has 8 temp sensors, and there are a few others that have them as well.

Ram is usually not closely monitored, although maybe it should be...at least by those of us who overvolt it a lot;)

Video cards are pretty easy to attach a sensor to- decide hpow many temps you want to monitor and buy what you need.

OR if you are really creative, make your own;) (<--way past my expertise, but:D)
