What would be a better investment:
New HSF
or
Hack the case and put in some fans and actually getting air circulation through the case??
Depending on your budget, it's tought to say. If you're gonna hack up your case, you might want to plan it out thorougly so that it won't be detrimental to your temps.
Something that you might want to consider if you haven't done so already is cable management. That's always the best way to get some airflow through your case and it won't cost you much at all.
Also, might want to let us know your current setup (i.e. hsf, case, case fans, etc.)
EDIT: Wait, is this post about your current situation or in a general sense?

i don't think it matters really. you can't overclock your gateway and if it is stable, it is fine. now if you were crashing and stuff, then i may see a point to it. i'd suggest saving some money for a real rig bro ;)
