Can video cards damadge moniters?

Ever since i got this 9700 pro my 17" compaq moniter got all shakey on the screen on all refrehs rates except 60hz.

So i thought the 1 year old moniter was dying i go to Best Buy and get a nice 19" View Sonic A90F.

Guess what within 2 hours the moniter gets shakey just like the other and only refresh that works is 60hz .

I tried putting the View Sonic in my bro's computer and it does the same thing. So DID ATI &^$# ME????????

I pay $400 for the card its kills my $400 17" and my brand new $350 19" or could this be something else i bet its the ****y ati card

I'm goin back to Nvidia and getting another ti 4600.
