im gettin kinda crap with this thing. 1495mhz 1.85vcore - 27C case, 43 cpu

The thing rocks awesome heat sink. Remember you using air cooling here not sure what you expected.

What is your ambient air temperature when you are taking these measurements? That will be one of the biggest factors of the cooling performance! For me with a Swiftech MC-370/A I can get my CPU temp to within 10 degrees ambient temp! That is impressive in my book and your heatsink is even crazier;although your CPU emits more heat :) Also do you have good case cooling to get cooler air into the case? Food for thought!

1495 mhz is crap?! Not in my book, that is a very high overclock.

It's all relative to where you start... if you start a 200MHz it's brilliant if you start at 1480 it's less then impressive.
