Antec case owners: how loud are the stock Antec fans?

I'm going to be building a quiet PC soon, and the case I plan to purchase is the Antec 1080AMG.

The case comes with 3 Antec exhaust fans pre-installed, but I am wondering how loud these stock Antec fans are? I have heard that they are quiet, but how quiet exactly? Panaflo/Papst quiet? Because that is what I'm after... near silence.

I will get additional Papst intake fans of course, but if possible I don't want to replace the Antec fans if they are quiet and do the job, as the Papst fans are definitely not cheap!

not too sure what the pabst and the panaflos sound like but in my opinion the antecs are quiet. they are stock, they are going to be quiet. when i got my first antec caes i had to crawl under the desk just to makes sure they were working. they don't move enough air for ME. take one out, note the model # and check with this page to see the specs.

They are quiet, but the fans do not move much air. You will want to upgrade. The new Antec case's are being sold with 120mm fan in the front and 120mm fan in the rear.

Yes they are quiet, and yes they dont move much air. I bought two extra 80 mm fans and now I have dual intake and dual exhaust fans in my case. I get around 50 cfm through the case.
