Kyro 2 or Visiontek Geforce2 Ti?

I have been intending to buy a Kyro 2 video card (set to buy a used one for $30), but Best Buy has a Visiontek GeForce 2 Ti for $79. You guys think its worth the extra $40? It will be used in conjunction with an A7V333/XP1600+/256MB DDR setup. Thanks.

I own a kyro. It ended up in my wifes machine within a month. Nuff said.

Seems unanimous for the Gf2Ti. I'll be getting a Radeon 9500 for Christmas, so this just has to hold me over until then. So Gf2Ti it is?

you can pickup a refurbed tf2 ti from newegg for 55. I would get the one from newegg since it's cheap. But if you want it now get the gf2, 3 months with a sub par graphics card sorta sucks.

In This case it would make more sense to get a Geforce 4 mx card for 80 bucks. or a geforce 3 ti

I used my credit card capabilities on the CPU, mobo & RAM, so I'm limited to whatevers available locally right now. :( Kyro 2 or GeForce 2 Ti

GeForce2 all the way. My GF2 lasted until september, than i got my GF4...the GF2 is still being used in my other rig and plays all games quite well...UT2003 being the exception. i can even play a decent game of Morrowind on it.
So dont fret..that GF2 will hold you over till x-mass as long as you dont mind not playing UT2003 at max res w/ loads of eye candy...every other game will play fine. Sides, the KYRO2 looked like it would be a good contender to nvidia but sadly got it's ar$e whupped by the big boys...maybe Kyro will come up w/ a new card?

with a 1600+ the kyro II wouldnt be that much worse, but it would still be a little worse.....G2Ti :)
