is this really true????
can you adjust your your multiplier from say 13x to 15x????
without mods to the processor????

yup its true. u might need a bios that can do that tho.i can even go down in multis. 13 is available on mine and is what i use.

Actually, they are fully unlocked, period if you have the right MB. On the newest boards like the KD7 or AT7max2, there are no multiplier limits up or down right out of the box. Ihave a 2400 and this is the case without connecting anything. So is the case of 2200's on these new boards.

Wait....all multipliers of the Thoroughbreds are available by default on the newer mobos???

not all. as i think i said i have 13-20 multis. if i was to go with the original bios i would get lower multis but if i remember correctly it didnt work until i flashed new bios.

wierd i have the A7v333 rev 1.02 board thats the newest that i know of and i have the latest 1013 bios but i only have multies of 5 up to 13.5

Maybe it has to have the cpu of that speed to kick in the options? Certainly strange as BIOS1012 definitely states it supports 2400 and 2600
