ABit TH7ii-Raid th7hbf bios with hpt 2.32 inserted.

HELP . . TH7ii-Raid Bios Wanted,
i have read this article,
http://forum.oc-forums.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=120794
specifically arman68 comments on how to insert 2.32 into bios
http://forum.oc-forums.com/vb/newreply.php?s=&action=newreply&postid=1027820
.
I am not willing to try it on my only MotherBoard,
unless i have somebody pass me a crc chk of theirs
then i will do mine and compare it.

.
Does anyone have th7hbf (aka. TH7H_BF) bios with htp 2.32
inserted by cbrom and tested available for DOWNLOAD . ?
I do not want anything else modded just the 2.32 into the
th7h_bf bios for starters.
If you can give me an example with crc checks along the
creation way then that will be as good.
.
.
FYI .. IMHO Do not use the 2.31 drivers with the 2.0.1024 bios
as all will appear fine in all OS(win95,98p,98se,Me,XpH,XPP)
untill Large Copies of about 2 gig cause Freezes.
Repeatable whenever i do a surface scan,
at unrepeatable(random) cluster position.

I will post mine later today.

I have tested it and can confirm there is no problem with it.

Thanks arman68,
as i have done a basic one to the th7h_bf.bin
.
all i want is for someone to do the same as i have.
for example
cbrom215.exe th7h_bf.bin /pci release
cbrom215.exe th7h_bf.bin /pci bios372.232

.
then also do the following.
.
awdflash.exe th7h_bf.bin /cks
.
and please post the checksum for the bios
for both before and after versions of the bios.
.
I know i sound paranoid but i live a long way from a city
that can get me a new bios chip.

I understand your concern.

Original TH7H_BF.BIN bios checksum: B1A3H

Modded TH7H_BF.BIN bios checksum: DDB3H (modded just as you did, with the same filename).

The only thing though is I have not tested it as the bios I am using has additional mods. There should not be any problem though as it is a straightforward mod which I have done many times.

One thing you might want to do is: run your machine at normal speed (ie: no oc), download the bioses again from the official sites, do the mod again before flashing. That way you can be sure your files are not corrupted due to system instability.

Thanks arman68,
.
I had the same crc/cks of DDB3H but i had no way of checking
this on another computer even though i run 6 PC's.
Due to the fact that awdflash will not output a /cks checksum
on another pc due to seeing that the other pc's id for the
bios did not match the one i was /cks'ing and then exiting.
.
Is there another way to produce /cks checksums.??
.
I tried other win9x programs
(like AwardMod BIOS Manipulation Tool)
that allow editing the bios and inserted the
bios372.232 file but i got checksum error
when loading the awdflash program with it.
i know it deals with award 4.xx bios, 256K
but did not think that 1 file swap would be
an issue but it is.
