Ok first thing~ My cameras batteries JUST DIED~ so i could not take a bunch of pics...

Pretty much what i did was take a heater core, an old wood box.....4 fans.... a pool pump and strap them all together in the box... place it outside me window, and ran 1/2inch ID reinforced tubing threw my window and then sealed the window. After running for 30min heres the temps.

Block base: 11.5c

Outside temp: 12.5

With a 80w peltier~ let me tell you BOTH sides of the pelt were COLD....

Block top: 13.5c

Swiftech MCX 4000 clamped to cold side of pelt had ice forming.... -2.5c

hehe nice... I kinda do the same thing in the winter. When I was in the dorms last year I had a tunnel from outside my window leading into my case just above the cpu fan.... temps dropped a good 11 degrees...
So, what were the before temps? :)

Living in Colorado, I know I'd be able to do something like that... but if I have htis kinda of a setup, I want it to be permanent, not just for a few months. :)

Yeah~ thats the problem~ it has its own fan to cool it and it shakes like crazy so i mounted it a specail way :)

LOL. I had some vibration problems with my pump too. I just mounted the RES on top of 3 stack mouse pads. Worked liek a charm. Then again, I'm only talking about my tinnie winnie 250GHP danner. You have a "home Improvment" (the show) inspired pump. If you know what I mean.

I still like the modified lawn mower with the big blower on the top. I think he put Motorcycle handlebars on it too. Man that was nice.
