Hey guys! Alright, I think I froze my CPU! Here is my setup:
http://forum.oc-forums.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=128135
Now, I was getting freezing temps in my water, and my block was getting to about 18 degrees celcius at idle and 22 at load. I left my pump on over night, but I turned the computer off, and now when I got home from work, i have a water temp of -2 degrees celcius and my block temp is probably pretty close to that. The block is insulated and sealed and I'm not getting condensation.
Here is my problem though: The computer will start, and makes all the noises like normal, and it seems to load up windows, but I am not getting a video signal! I tried a different videocard but still no signal. Any ideas on what to do?

take everything out of the fridge, let it thaw out first, probably a good idea to remove the waterblock from the cpu, Make sure everything works before reinstalling it. As for the computer. Does your Bios boot up normally? Can you tell if it is loading windows or if it is just hanging? Bios will not boot if it cannot get the video working, if it does boot, something is probably wrong with your video card/monitor.

dude, does your mobo have abuilt in video card, because if it does, it may be sending signal to that and not the one you put in, what slot video card? because if it is pci, the bios may be set to look at the agp port, if all else fails just try clearing the cmos by changing the jumper.

alright so here is the story. i dont have built in video btw. i tried everything. took everything off the mobo except the CPU and tried starting it, nothing (no beeps or anything). i put the ram and video card on and tried it, nothing. put everything back on, nothing. i think something might have happened to my northbridge. that is what the agp goes though right? oh man. i think i am going to take my mobo out, and try a different cpu in it. if that doesnt work, then i will just buy a new mobo. my company pays for my computer stuff so i just need to find which one i want. :D thanks for the help guys. any idea what might have happened? i didnt get any leaks or condensation...but i was getting close to freezing temps when i left the computer off but the pump on. maybe i froze something? lol

Wait..... try a pci vid card. I had that problem a few times with different boards. Clear cmos, use PCI vid card. If the PCI vid card works then reseat your AGP. O, try differnet monitor. It might be refresh rate also.

what it sounds like without any beeps, you lost your bios.
I use a water chiller myself, only it runs a bit colder (the water-antifreeze temp is around -30). What I've found is that even if you did a great insluating job, and have taken tons of insulating precautions, you'll still get condensation when the pump is left on for a long time, especially if the comp is off and you don't have a fan or anything blowing on the cpu area to evaporate any mositure. Sorry to say, you probably had a condensation related problem

my mobo came with dual bios...ill try booting up using the backup bios.
also the idea about the PCI video card was a good idea as well.
i will try both of these ideas tomorrow and let you guys know what happens. thanks for all the help!

kieronholden I think you missundertood the the person in question is he, not she, gotcha?
By the way, does someone know which is the priceof a pre-built freon cooling system?Need it for my dual system!
wiggle vid card, press power.
work?
no.
repeat...
I have that problem from time to time with my Ti200... I sandblasted the case and it warped the metal of the backing plate and sides slighty... so you have to wiggle it every now and then if you have been moving it around.. like to lan parties..
lesson learned: Never sandblast a case!
