Hey everyone,
I have been trying to find the limits of my overclocking, and they seem to be lower than I hoped.
My system is as follows:
Abit kr7a-133
Duron 1.2 Morgan
256 mb PC2700 DDR Samsung
Geforce 3 Ti-200 (overclocked)
crappy yamaha sound card
350 watt power supply
10/100 ethernet card
few cd rom drives, and a floppy.
The highest i can get it to overclock is 1.44 (152 x 9.5 and 169 X 8.5 and 9.0 X 160).
I have my voltages at 1.8 vcore (also tried 1.825) and 2.85 for ram. (also tried 1.75).
Does this seem about right? I get a little frustrated that my ram wont do much higher than 169 and be stable enough to run diagnostics! Do i need to voltmod, or what is the deal? Any ideas?? thanks a lot for your help and experience in advance.
