I just ordered a Slot A Tbird 750 .18 micron core, 256k cache. $50 All that i have right now is a well lapped GORB and coldplate, along with Thermal Grease( not AS 1 or 2), this will probably work for awhile. What is one of the better HS, fan combo's that i could use for this slot-i wanna get it as high as possible with a GFD(mobo dont support 133FSB). So i need the best HSF availible-might go to watercooling later-can i get the 750 much higher with water or can i come close to the max with aircooling? Got a good setup right noe-2 90mm for exhaust, and a 120 for intake-they are all in the proper position but i reallly want a gig from it-please help with your infinite knowledge

Seems to me that there's no need to go nuts on the cooling...the money you would spend on some of the high end cooling solutions (like watercooling) would be better spent on a faster CPU and mb.

ummm...why buy a new mobo and cpu when a $50 cpu will do a gig-the gig slot is like $125. And some get this chip up to 1330mhz-thats as fast as the new axia for $50-thats why
