Hmmm better get cracking bringing more rigs online here, I am aiming for 100points/week eventually, that would be 14ish a day. That would be a 7th of it.
On the other hand, if everyone tweaked their rigs by 3% that would put us a percent over them.

We need some farmers... some big ol mother farms of dedicated boxes. :D
Great work team, keep it up!

Don't you worry the next one will be even better. Just try to not rack your brain too hard I know it is hard to beat what we are giving away this time, but It is a secret and all I can say is a lot of folders are going to be very happy;)

Wouldn't it be awesome if we could start catching OCAU !!! I have added a 4th rig and tweaked some of my other rigs. I am up to about 140pts/week. And from looking at Statsman, there are several new power folders on Team 32. Way to go guys and gals !!!
Yup... what we need is something like 70+ Ghz that just goes to folders on team 32.
We would rock.... if only we could find that.

I just joined the team yesterday and I did 12 points in my first full day but acctually there should be more than that because sometime when I was at school the power went out and my comptuers were turned off until I got home, but I dont know how long it was off. So starting tomorrow I will really see how well I do.
Then by the end of the week I will have enough money to build a 800mhz tbird that I am building from parts I am buying off friends. So there is another one to add to the bunch.

Hey Gandalf, didn't you win a contest a few months back ???
It's my turn...
I could really use a nice new 1600+ I was thinking of buying one tomorrow to keep CharlesHF away from me...

My gf just got cable at her place, so I'm in the process of installing a few of my cardboard box comps there.

we WILL catch them. one thing i have noticed hasnt been really mentioned, at least i havent seen it as much, is to RECRUIT!!
its one thing to poor all your money and time into making your own farm bigger, but it only takes a couple minutes to explain to someone how to get started and to put a 32 in the team box...
some people i've signed up i have seen in statsman, and when asked, they dont EVEN remember they have the thing running.. which is fine by me ;)

Im begging and pleading to the masses. Some of the puter techs at one of the places i shop are interested and will start using as a burn in on new rigs and may add to full time ones as well :D. I myself have my eyes firmly set on top 20 production and I am going to be setting up another 1600 clocked up to help get there. Make room in the top 30 this month boys cause im a coming up
You guys wanna know something else (although most of you already do but may not realize it at the moment), THe bulk of O/C.com is headed for winter which make for better overclocking. while the bulk of Australia is, well, headed for summer. I smell some declocking going on in their future. this will help us that must more!!

Good point Mr. Chambers. I think I'll call my brother tomorrow. I built him an XP1800 @1.67 GHz machine a few months ago. He should put it to work.

Argh! You people! Getting me hooked on Folding!
Got my XP 1600+ in the mix now. Go team 32! ;)
Going to try to get some more boxes running on it... I've got a P4 2 ghz processor just aching to be put to work, and another XP processor coming in this week. Hehe!

Hey, if you get that P4 running, be sure to add -advmethods to the command line. This will make F@H download the new core that utilizes SSE2 and really improves P4 crunching time.

I think the whole contest idea was brilliant, I signed up after I saw it and im somewhat hooked now :)
At the mo I only got 900mhz 24/7 and my xp 1600+ @ 1836mhz off and on, but im thinkin of a dedicated rig.
Really hope we can catch up on OCAU, that would be awesome :D

We will gain ground on OCAU soon...I can feel it !!!
I finished some tweaks for a few of my boxes and have my production up to around 370-400 pts per week now. So we're making some headway!
Btw, I am relatively new to the team (been folding for about a month now) so I am curious, where does 300-400 points a week fall into the grand scheme of team 32. Is that a pretty high level of production or about average?

That is relatively high, if you check statsman.org (http://statsman.org/folding2stats/32.html) you can check your weekly and daily stats against the team. You can sort the columns by clicking on the top of whichever one you want to sort. Either high to low or low to high.
Nice to have more big producers on the team. I am only at 150 a week or so. Adding more today.

looks like a ripple effect kinda, rage3d came on our backs then scared us and we then bounced up onto ocau's back and scare(mab even pass) them ,and they might jump onto hardocp's back then hehe

Damn Shad, I just checked your stats and you are a power folder! Be proud of it, list your rigs in your sig or at least how many total GHZ you have

Thanks for the encouragement. I am pretty pleased with the production level. Although I am getting some serious ubergeek points at work when I try to explain that I want to load a DC client onto their computer to fold proteins. The nice thing is that the machines are in use for about 8-9 hours a day and then they sit running for the remaining hours, we don't reboot, so they have alot of time to do some serious folding. My workmate just added another 2 Ghz to team 32 under my username at his home so thats been a nice increase in the last week as well.
Its fun and its for a good cause.:burn:

Shad I had been watching you come up through the ranks and there for a while we were neck and neck. I would lead for a bit and then you. Then all of a sudden you just TOOK OFF!! I was thinking that I was doing pretty good with my 200pts a week. Congrats man. Fold on! Let's help find the cure for what hurts the world most....DISEASE!
I also just got a new 'puter from a friend that was moving. It'll be added to the mix of computers I got running. w00t!!

I noted that too. You and I were poking along up the ranks, I took off when the machines I added at work finally submitted their WU's and from there it was a pretty steady progression up to 400 pts a week or so on average. Honestly its become quite a little addiction to find more cycles to throw at the problem in the quest for more folding power. I'll be somewhat sated when I get into the top 100, I figure that should occur in about a week or so at this level of production..

guys if i could get our school's labs up that would make up the difference.
They have 40+ 1.8ghz p4's
I've got FAH on 5 of them so far, but its hard to do it covertly.
:edit: wait, no it woudln't make up the difference, but it sure would help.
