View Full Version : Cheap, high amperage DC PSU anywhere?
Anyone know the whereabouts of a cheap PSU for use with TEC's.
I looked at a commercial supplier but they want approx $1 a watt of output.
How about a 12V 21A switching supply for $40.00 !

right now they only have a 12v@21A PSU but I bought a 15v@10a for $35.00. Not a bad deal. Thier inventory changes quite often, and they are VERY helpful.
Great minds think alike! :D

They do not have any in stock right now. That would be why you do not see one. He updates the page with the current stock, so if you do not see it, he aint got it...
I would email them, they may have not updated the site. You never know what they will have...

You can also try online auctions as well
Though I have not personally tried the 12V @ 21A switching supply, I have worked with more power supplies than I can recount. On everyone, you could adjust the output voltage within certain limits. It is not unusual to be able to swing a 12V supply from 10 to 14V or more. That's darned close to 15V @ 21A.
