I got a p4 2.4b, and at stock speed and running prime95 it says the temps get around 61C, and at 2.8ghz, its around 66C with a case temp around 34C. It doesn't crash, but I also don't want to kill my brand new CPU. I also have a YS tech high performance T.M.D. Is this heatsink just crap? Or are my temps just inaccurate?

These high *** temps have me worried, so hopefully you guys can help me out here. -Aaron

Mine never tops 49c on my BD7II running in that speed neighborhood, but my case temp stays around 38c. Using winbond to report the temps back to me.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I am using a Cooler Master heatsink with AS3 for my processor cooler. Loud, but does a nice job.
