I'm interested in the conception of bongs, especialy noiseless system. In fact, I can't support any noise!:D :) ;)

I have some (good?) ideas, so I would to know if you are interested in?

Bienvenue aux les forums de Overclockers.com!

Well, we would love to hear your ideas! So far most bongs that have been made have been rather noisy, it would be great if a quiet, or better yet, silent bong gets concieved.

I'd built a quiet bong, and it worked well, but lower temperatures were sacrificed for silence, so the water stayed at room temperature.
I modified the showerhead to spray the water down the inside of the tube instead of just falling straight into the water below.
I do have some current ideas though.

What is your plan?

To get sub-ambient temperatures you need evaporation. A lot
of poor bong designs are more like heat exchangers. The idea is
to get as much evaporation as possible without loosing water
from mist out the top. You will be able to cool down to the
Dew Point for your room temperature and humidity. For most
mid-latitude locations this is about 5 to 7 degrees C below
room temperature.

The down side to bongs is that they must be constantly filled
with water and cleaned out as scale builds up. They also may
cause room humidity to increase to an uncomfortable level.

ok, I know how a bong work;)

in my graphic, a fan i used to have an air flowrate on water

high speed of water, large surface and air flow may allow to have a great evaporation I think...

I found a new design, wich use a spirale surface, which may allow to have a great water flow rate...;) (graphic for soon)
