What say you guys to a race to 2500 points or higher like 5000?

I am up for a little friendly competition. It benefits the team and the project.

I have been watching you guys on my six for the last two weeks.

chrismacan is at 1915.86
CharlesHF is at 1867.42
Edward2 is at 1841.42

How much should we race to ???

For new_novice I suggest that he aim for 25,000 while we aim for 5000. You are about 5x the production of most of us. That sound good to you ??? Of course you can keep Wedo, Overdoze, cmcquistion, or Stymee on their toes. I can only watch you get farther away, quickly... You should be at 10k in a few weeks.

Chris, I think that you might be in the lead for a while. :( My XP1600+ just fried last night. :( :cry: Now I have to wait until Monday before one can get shipped out.
At least it was an AGKGA. Hopefully I'll get an AROIA or an AGOIA. :D

DUDE, I feel for you.

I am one lucky SOB in that I have only EVER killed a T-Bird 700. It had run for 18 months at 927. When I moved it out of my Antec tower I must have ZAPPED it, I may also have crushed it, I had changed HSF's on it at least 30 times.

I hope you can RMA that XP. I think that NEWEGG lets you order by stepping.

I don't know for sure, I buy wholesale in Montreal. Better price every time. :p

Well, I don't think I got it from Newegg, and I had it for 8 months, anyway, so it was a little out of warranty. :rolleyes:
Oh well, I just ordered another. Fortunately, it was only $54.99 from Newegg. No shipping costs, either. :D

Don't you have a one year warranty on AMD chips.

Unless you unlocked it you should be able to do something with it.

They come with a 30-day warranty if you buy them OEM, if I remember correctly. Also, I don't think the warranty covers "stupidity" either. :rolleyes:

I thought that my Maze2 was on too tight, so I loosened it (I had been messing with my H2O system for a few hours) and then....

I'm just glad that I have several spare computers laying around my room. I took my Dragon+ out of my computer, popped the old K6-2 500 and mobo into the case, and kept going. :) That would suck if I didn't have a computer until thursday.....
Newegg will probably ship on monday, I'll probably get it on wednesday, which sucks, because that's when I have the cross country conference meet. I'll get back at 11PM, which means it won't be into my computer until Thursday. :(

Oh well, I've got the K6-2 500 folding. Don't know how much good it'll do, but at least it's there in principle.
