heh, I dont know if any of you seen this before or know the person but this is some pretty nice stuff. He has been doing it since overclocking has been invented. Unfortunatly the site in in japanese but the pictures are very good and make things very clear:

But seriously, you need the right equipment to do it properly, and it's not worth it if you don't know someone who has access to it. Mechanic or refridgeration repair person.

ok, but when you build a system like that you just take the compressor to the shop and have them fill it or the whole system, because I think I heard you just have to get your compressor filled...

Umm... if you can attach the proper valve, you can fill it yourself for $30 with stuff from wal-mart. Attaching that valve and making sure the system is sealed is the tough part.

i duno about that, it would have to be a 1 way valve and how do you know when to stop? besides the system is full of air, how would you get air out?

Well, there's plenty of pressure on the gas/liquid used for cooling, so the air isn't a big problem. (About 40psi on the low pressure, 300+ on the high pressure.) And if you've ever refilled the AC on your car, you'll have seen that there's a big valve that works like a tire valve on it. You could probably find one of those at a junkyard.

trying to get the fastest K6-2... Or possibly a k6-3+ chip. Its more about the competition than raw performance sometimes. Yes crazy but only if your compair it to "normal" and what is nromal eh?

Actually liquid will seep under the heat spreader it's only attached at the corners.

Wonder how fast he got it, can't read anything other than it's a K6-2-400.

I am really interested in how EXACTLY he made it. Like the pressures, the refrigerants, and why the hel is there only ONE pipe!!!!!!!! where does the refrigerant exit to the radiator and later compressor!!!???? very interesting design. I have personaly copyed the disign of the chamber around the evaporator block but I want more detale. heh, I actually have the guys email but unfortunatly i dont speek japanese ^_^ if anyone here is willing to talk to him it would be so cool
