Key

black is the ram 2 ram sinks going acros each peice of ram
Purple is the back of thr gpu on the back of the card duhh
Blue is the fan i screwd over top the ram about 1 inch in the air right above the ram sinks and the gpu

Now people with th 9700 rads know that on both sides the memory is easacly behind each other this means they will get 2 times hotter..

The ti 4600 the ram is not exsacly behind each other but seperated wich i think is a great idea.

So since i have a fan right above the ram sinks in the back it cools all 8 peices of ram

including the gpu in the back

Nice! That's the first 9700 I've seen in the flesh. Such an inspiring design! I love the way they seem to have removed all the components from the board.....:D

No, really, that's an excellent way to improve your cooling. I modded my Radeon (64Meg DDR, rather than 9700!) with RAMsinks, and reseated the heatsink with ASII and superglue.

It really does work wonders for your temps....
