Nothing that new here really: it is very similar to the one released previously by Annamaria. Since a few people had problems with it though or were not too sure about it due to the language barrier, here is the version I modded and use on my PC.

http://www.aoug16.dsl.pipex.com/th7h_bf+.zip

Standard disclaimer: Only flash if you know what you are doing and you can recover from a bad flash.

Saying that though, it works for me and that's the one I am using everyday.

Content of readme is below:

Abit TH7II/TH7II-RAID BIOS version BF
Modified by arman68 21:45 03/10/2002

This bios is based on the official Abit BIOS BF available at
http://fae.abit.com.tw/eng/download/bios/th7-ii.htm

INSTRUCTIONS_____________________________________

Create a boot floppy for bios flahsing with no drivers loaded,
you can download one from http://www.biosmods.com/download.php

Download awdflash.exe v8.xx (from the same place) and copy it
to floppy.

Copy all the files included with this bios to the floppy.

Upgrade the HPT drivers if necessary before flashing.

Reset the bios settings to their default values.

Flash it by booting from the floppy and running RUNME.BAT

IMPORTANT________________________________________

If you are using a RAID motherboard, remember to upgrade
the highpoint drivers before to v2.32 before flashing the bios
http://www.highpoint-tech.com/370drivers_down.htm

CHANGELOG_______________________________________

* upgraded HPT 370 bios to v2.32
* replaced EPA logo with HPT 370 logo ;)
* enabled the following hidden options:
- AGPCLK/PCICLK additional multipliers
- Spread Spectrum Modulated

I would not want to offend nobody, but to part the graphical modifications é the bios from modified me...But please...Why is be added a multiplier for the rimm to 200x and the impostabile vcore max with cpu the NW to 1,85v against the settabili maximums 1,70v?
For Spread Spectrum Modulated, I do not speak, inasmuch as to door solo instabilita in case of overclock...
:D

Threw the whole thing up on my site, arman68. Hope you don't mind..:p

In the folder: "Bios Flash".

No problem. However I would recommend you do put any bios as .bin files on your site, for the simple reason that if the download gets corrupted nobody will now. It is safer to keep them in a zip (or rar/ace/lzh/...) archive.

No offence taken ;)

As I stated, the BF+ bios is essentially the same as yours. The only reason I put it up is some people are a bit wary of your bios (with no due reason) as they do not understand italian.

In the end, whichever bios people want to use does not bother me.

Almost forgot, expect a BIG entirely new bios mod in the next few days ;) It will not be more vcore or additional multipliers, and it will not be limited to the TH7II; you will have to wait and see :p

Hmmm...I am wondering what else could possibly qualify as BIG once you eliminate vcore and multipliers from the equation.

A 3.5X multiplier for the RDRAM maybe?? That would be sweet.

@Arman: Can't wait to see your "BIG" BIOS mod!!!!

I still hope it will be the vcore... :D

Sorry, not that B I G :D

It's not going to help you overclocking, it's just a mod that has not been seen before and could open the way to more things. Of course I cannot guarantee it will work, and I will need some testers with bios savers and spare hard drives initially.

OK, then I am interested in the things that the mod could open the way to... :D

We will see...

Merkor

P.S.: I am still confident you will crack the code to the 1.85v...

Sorry for my silence, I have been quite busy lately. I have a family life as well ;)

I am working on the mod, but I am having a hard time translating chinese to english. If you want I can release an experimental version with a chinese mod, but you will need a bios savior and spare hard drive as there is a high risk of having a bad flash and losing data on your whole hard drive.

PM me if you want it.

This is not for the faint-hearted nor the unprepared :D

arman, you have PM's turned off  Did you see my question? Does the new bios or your Mod fix the TH7II's problem /w 1066 memory?

I will turn PM on very soon :D

I do not thing the BF+ solves the problem with 1066 RDRAM as I have not done anything about it.

whats the problem with 1066 ??? when i do a cpu exchange i still can boot with pc 1066 even iff i ereas cmoss

the only thing i got to to is boot the pc a few times most 2 times but you got to wait a litle time before you start him again

There is a problem with 7c BIOS and Kingston PC1066 memory. Since this was the first PC1066 memory available, many users have it installed. There seems to be a problem whith the BIOS reading the SPD information (my guess as nothing has been confirmed).
You can check this thread http://forum.oc-forums.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=108338
Which PC1066 memory do you use?

" If you are using a RAID motherboard, remember to upgrade

i'm using my RAID controllers as extra IDE controllers, do I need to upgrade my highpoint drivers, or is it just for people that have a RAID Array.
