hello, i just joined friday and wondering i setup folding here at home and one at work (dont worry i got the okay cuz my cousin is head of IT department :D ). well i get credit for my machine folding at work? thx!!!


p.s. i just got 1 WU last night is that good? :rolleyes:

Will you get credit for the WU at work? Of course. As long as you used the same username.

I currently have one machine at home an a truckload of computers folding at work. This is how you do it;)

Homer, it never hurts to ask :rolleyes: Or if theres a guy 'in charge' of all the comps just go directly to him.

well there are 2 computers here at my work that stays on all the time ill just sneak in there and hook up the program...heehee... i also got my brother to run it on his 2 machines. :D this is fun....im not looking to get ahead of everyone i just like to help out :D

That's what we all say, in the beginning. But then, the addiction sets in......looks like it already has. ;)
Yeah, in the beginning, I was just here to help out, but THEN.........I put it on the computers at my dad's office "to help out" and also so that I could climb up the stats. :)

also i would like to know what well make the process faster? is it ur cpu speed?

Yes it has struck you! :D Set those other two comp's up at work and you'll be racking it in.

Folding is cpu intensive. So, besides buying a faster cpu, overclocking is the way to go. Hit the search engine here in the forums and you should find answers to pretty much any question you have. If not, post it. Have fun.:beer:
