i think it like keeps the psu from turning on so the compressor gets colder first or something ? :|

or the other thing i get out of it is that it tries to eliminate the cold boot problem when if u overvolt/oc ur cpu a lot it wont boot sometimes

yeah it stalls system boot up for a few seconds to let the cooling system to start. I think is a ripoff. it is kindof point less. anybody who is able to count to 700 dollars for a promethesis can make a dohikie very easyly. what ever

im not sure how much that cost but yes it delays the boot untill the cpu reaches whatever paramiter you set is reached and it also can cut the system off if the cpu gets high enough

That's what it does, but it's very important. The cold plate of the evaporator on the Prometeia can reach 40C alone before the cooling starts kicking in. This is without a hot CPU against it. Therefore, delaying the power to the CPU is critical to making sure your CPU doesn't fry itself before the cooling reaches it.
