Hey,
Im looking for some good oc program for the radeon 9700pro card, and it gotta work in windows 2000. So far i have tried 2 diff programs, "rage3d tweak" and it didnt work at all to over clock the card just said n/a at both gpu and the mem, and i tried a program called "Radeonator 2.0" it worked fine when i used
Win XP but not in Win2000. I also tried a program called "Powestrip" it could over clock my grafic card but it ****ed up my hZ for my monitor.
So im looking for some other program that can 1. over clock the card in win2000 and 2. put the hZ for the monitor up.
thanx!

no one knows ?? grrr :)
I gotta 9800pro 256, and the Rage Tweaker did the same for my system.
Powerstrip looks like its not an option for me in WIN98SE.
Think I might have to go the registry route. Think theres some info on the Anatech site forum re. registry settings.

rage3dtweek worked for me...i have a 9700 pro AIW
I definietly suggest RadClocker that comes as part as the OmegaDrivers (you should definitely use these as well). I've tried all the others and this was by far the best for me.
It puts a tab in the advanced properties with all the other card settings and you can vary the amount of overclock. The only thing which I didn't like is that it adds a service to your startup but all of them do this. It's just that I run a very 'clean' system so nothing starts unless it's vital to my system.
Thanks for info.
I omitted to say that im on Win98SE, in my post. Running the latest version of omega drivers for that OS, 2616 and can't see any tab in control panel. Maybe its only available on later version, which is only applicable to 2k and XP.
Otherewise i'm mistaken.
No you maybe right but if you go to the Rsdclocker web page there's a new one out for Win98 (why you still using this ;))
Radclocker (http://www28.brinkster.com/chrisww1942/)
Thanks,
Will try that.
Got three machines on this OS (business). Don't want cost/hassle of changing at the moment.
Hey Wam
RadClocker hit the mark. Have now removed Rage3d. Now need to do some tweaking, and benchmarking.
Thanks again.
We live to serve (Homer & I) ;)
I've still got a Win98se boot partition but it doesn't get much use nowadays.
