ut2k3 lan play

couple questions

1. do i need more then 1 cd-key to play over a lan (i.e. me and my other computers using 1 copy, not warez technically since i bought it for MY own use.)

2. do i need to setup 1 computer as a server? or can i use my own computer to host and play my character.

I don't know the answer to the first question.

You can play on the same computer that hosts the lan game, however that will require a computer with a lot of memory.

It should be alright to play over the LAN with same cd keys, as im pretty sure they way cd key protection works is it checks with a central server when you play online. So if you arent playing online, it may not authorise the CD key etc.

i would set up a dedicated server if your going to be hosting a lot of people over 3 or 4
