This is how I keep el cheapo homemade dryer filter from being sucked into my 120mm Sunon fan. Mine is installed in a blowhole I cut into the front of my case, but you could just tuck the tabs through a fan guard instead of installing inside the blow hole. I'll post pictures as soon as I get some film then develop it. In other words September. 8)

BTW use your own dimensions. These are the sizes I used to fit my blow hole. Just find the right sized cup or any suitable cylinder and add some kind of "Nibs" to hold the sheet.

I really like this little adaptation. Cheap, effective, and easy to change out. Great Tip!

Thanks dunno260 This invention was borne of frustration from trying to us a rubberband to hold the dryer sheet on while the fan was running, yep, you guessed it Mr Sunon sucked that bad boy right on in there. LOL.
Rubberband method looked really crappy also. The cup top I used fits really smooth into my blow hole up against the fan guard.

Nifty!

I mounted my intake fan with a dryer sheet before I took the fan off to reduce noise. They work really well, but they are a 8!+C# to keep in place. I too had one shreaded :).
