XP1600+ AGOIA0213 Available

I am new to the OC world, but have only heard good things about the XP1600+ AGOIA0213. Anyway there is company selling them OEM for $55 including 3-Day Fed Ex.

Looks like they try, but there are a lot of dissatisfied customers....might be a ripoff....you should read the comments and decide on your own.

I heard the same thing from someone who was helping me OC my system, he told me they don't post it, but it is on the Pricewatch link, het said he even emailed them to make sure, I have heard mixed resultas, but it's worth a shot...I know I will try, I suppose the smart thing to do would be to include the refernce in the comment section of the order, that way they can't say you didn't advise them...

Hallen one of the SETI Crunchers, bought two of these and got AGOIA Y 0213. I think they are dependable but one transaction does not speak for all so you should keep us updated ;)

I've re-orderd several times and they all are AGOIA 0213. They all do 10.5 X 166 and up.

Just received cpu from them today. It is AGOIA 'Y' 0212. This is the first 0212 all others have been 0213. This is also the first time I did not put AGOIA0213 in the order comments.

I spoke with them directly over the phone, they assured me it would be the AGOIA 0213. Of course I do recommend adding a note in the comment section. It's suppose to ship today so I should know 100% middle of the week. I will keep everyone posted.

No, online should be fine, did you include the Pricewatch reference, because it's the only place they mention the AOGIA0213, if you didn't just send a follow up email to sales@gameve.com and mention the PW add, and the stepping. You should be fine, of course you could also call them tomorrow to make sure 1-800-228-9395, better safe than sorry...

I am buying a msi k7d master with two xp 1600's, and 1x512 pc2700 samsung registered ecc ram.

I just replace my ASUS A7M266 with the EPoX EP-8K5A2+, soon to be replacing my T-Bird 1.333 with the 1600+, pulled my Promise FastTrak TX200 PCI Raid card and am using the onboard raid on the MB, pulled 2-40GIG IBM Deskstars (Raid 0) and am running the Maxtors, still using my orignal GeForce 3, oh and I replace my Samsung PC2100 256MB with a stick of the Corsair XMS3200 Cas 2 512, now if I could on,ly figure out how use all of this stuff....

GameEV is one of the last places that still has the AGOIA0213, they only advertise that stepping on Pricewatch, but if you make a note of it in the comments section or follow the up the order with an email or phone call they are happy to oblige. They are running out so now is the best time to buy, and they were $55 including 3 day Fed-Ex, the price is up $5, but it's still a bargin

I spoke with them today, and they were low on stock, if the site says they have 20 then it's 20 1600+, but it may not be the AGOIA0213, the only way to know for sure is to call and ask, they had 8 yesterday and the number was dwindling, perhaps they got more in this afternoon, the Pricewatch link is still posted so you could call and use that as a refernece(some of the guys that work there are OC'ers, so they know what people want these for, they are friendly and helpful). The only times I have heard of people not getting the AGOIA0213 is when they don't refernce it...

I just purchased one last night from them and decided to get overnight because I just fried my 1900, yes I am new to this and though I go slow and read up we all now what sometimes happens to the rookies when they get tossed into the fray!!! Anyway I must have been frazzled because they said I put in an invalid card number so now I'll have to wait an extra day. He said it will be an AGOIA so we'll see.

that other link is there as a backup, if GameEv.com still offers the AOGIA0213 then by all means get one, like I have mentioned in the past, you need to ask for the AOGIA0213 in order to ensure recieving it, better safe than sorry.

This overclocks LIKE A MONSTER

It booted(but locked up on windows start) at 166 mem and fsb with normal multi. Thats 1742 mhz on a chip at defualt vcore with pc2100 crucial ram(also at default voltage, loosest settings) I have a volcano 6 cu running on it, and the whole setup is on an msi kt3ultra2.

I could easily push this thing higher with a better hsf(soon to be volcano 9), faster ram(like pc 2700), raising voltages on memory and cpu, and unlocking.

THIS IS AN OVERCLOCK OF ALMOST 400 MHZ ON DEFAULT VCORE

Im sure you guys will be happy with your's when you get them :)

I have crucial 2100 ram.... pc still boots about 70 % of time at 166mhz mem and front side busses(running synchronous). Im sure you can get a decent overclock without this memory limiting you.

im in the process of unlocking it now.. first go at unlocking a XP wish me luck..

ok i tryed to fill it in with crayron at first.. sorta worked but came off when i put tape over it... then i remember i could use some thermal compound.. so i went and found some old cooler master thermal compond (didnt want to use ASII hear its just a little conductive) and i put it on filled in the gaps.. then put tape over the compond and pulled off tape.. and bam the gaps were filled in perfectly... i think the first brige might have some crayron and compond but that shouldnt be a prob... im waiting on friend now to go to pep boys... i spilled my defogger repair kit when i finished my first TBIRD but had a little left so i kept it.. BUT it seems to have dryed up so its sorta useless now.. have to go and spend 8 more bucks on a little bottle of deforger repair :( bummer but oh well

just wanted to say only grip i have with gameve is that they gave me a heart attack when i first opened my box LOL.. i saw a box for a crapy old modeom.. and was about to had a fit. lol but i opened it up and true enough there was a little ball of black wraping fome.. unraped it and there it was green staring at me. with the shinnys core i have ever seen.. first thing i did was look at stepping then jump up and down and go gather what i needed to do a unlock :-D hehehe cant wait till i finish and get this puppy in and set the multi up to max then start with the fsb.. muahahahaha i did 47 load at 2.06vcore on my old CPU so i think i have cooling down, and should be able to get some nice speeds out of this monster..

P.S i just did the math and wooh this puppy was made a week after or during my birthday earlyer this year!!!! hahaha im in love it was made for me.. just a late birthday present i guess but i forgive AMD on being so late ;)

FYI: little know fact AGOIA0123, AGOIA0212, and AGOIA00216 are all great overclockers, that's inside info right from AMD, so don't dispair if you don't have 0213, the other two are just as great, and don't forget to check for 'Y' on that next line

you can get the 8K5A2+ for less than 8K3a+ and it has the additonal on board LAN, USB 2.0, and better sound, plus it has all the great BIOS settings you would expect from EPox, of course some Corsair XMS wouldn't hurt, but that will run you more than the motherboard...

the EPox 8K5A2+ has adjustments for voltage on the VCORE and DIMM, VCORE defaults at 1.750 and can be lowered down to 1.400 and raised to 2.200(how's that for not needing a mod), and the DIMM defaults at 2.50 and can be raised in increments of .10 up to 3.20

****HERE IS THE LATEST NEWS****

GameEV still has 1600+ AGOIA, they get a new batch in almost every night, however it is hit or miss whether you will get a 0213, I know the current batch is all 0212, but they are Y's, so that's a plus. I spoke with the 'man' there and he told me that he has personally tested the 0212, 0213, & 0216 and they are all great OC'ers.

I will be putting a 0212 Y through it paces this weekend so I will keep everybody updated

I ordered from GameVe? American Future Tech. and yep it's an AGOIA 0213 sittin pretty at 166 locked 1736mHz i think. Gonna burn it in for a while and then see what it can do. Stock core voltage and 2.7 vdimm I have some other CMOS tweaks going on but no wpcrset yet. I couldn't get my AGOGA 1900 past 142 fsb and 1700mHz..this thing is sweet!!

I have a KK266 with a AGOIA 0213 Y running at 12 x 150 @ 1.675v. This is with a MC462 and a 68CFM Delta running @ 7v.

I have a 64MB 8500LE running @ 310/330 and hit 9250 in 3DMark2001.

With and extra .1v on the CPU (1.775) I hit 12 x 155 and get 9500 in 3DMark2001, but I have to raise the fan speed (and noise).

I have thought of upgrading my MoBo and RAM, but how much more performance will it get me? $200 for the Epox and 256MB of XMS 3500 might get me 1000 to 2000 more in 3DMark2001. I just don't think it's worth it.

Yes, they just wrapped it in that foam padding stuff with rubber bands around it. Which wasn't a great idea since I had to kinda use force to get the rubber bands off.

Anyway, I noticed the cpu core was sorta hard to read, like it was blurry or something. Anyone elses like that?

lol well its locked at XP 1800 well not locked i can mess with it but its weird hard to explain.. i mean when set to auto find multi it does 1800 and i can raise the fsb just like if it was a xp 1800 at 11.5 multi so its no real lose.. but i would like to raise it even higher thats my prob lol.. and my memory is **** so i cant do to high of a fsb.. only about 145

right now I am trying to figure out the voltages, not sure which one to raise. At 166FSB I keep them at defualt and everything is 100%, at 172FSB Windows loads, at the standard benchmarks run(SiSoft Sandra, PCMark2002, 3DMark2001), but Prime95 stops after about 3 hours. Should I bump up the VCORE or the DIMM, or both?
