Whats up everyone....

I'm sorry ift his comes off as a modding n00b question but does anyone know where I can find some online resources or tell me how I can screw around with an old atx psu so that I wouldn't need a switch to turn it on? I mean, I know its probably something simple but I've got no idea where to start.

What I'm needing to do is put all my cathodes (I have 4 blues) on one 300watt psu, and all my other devices on my other 350 watt, so I want the psu thats powering the lights to turn on as soon as I plug it in.

Any ideas?

Thanks for any help anyone can give, appriciate much do I :D

what you can do is...

leave the switch in the back on the "I" position... then

Using a piece of wire, connect pin 14 to one of the 6 grounds, i.e. pins 15, 16 and 17. look at post below for a pic.

If the powersupply kicks in, then you're good to go! Every time you plug it into the wall, it will turn on.

I think you'd need to rig up a relay device for an AT supply as the power switch on an AT is actually completing a 120v circuit (I think it's the 120v, however, I think I'm wrong... anyone know) Where as an ATX is just using an electronic switch essentially.
