Nvidia 30.87 driver???

Checked windows updates and saw a nvidia 30.87 driver dated 9/26/2002.

Anyone have any info on this?

30.82?? I dunno if there was ever a 30.87
The 30.82 were good drivers...

But I recommend you go to the Nvidia site and grab one of them 40.72 drivers ;) (more compatibility issues fixed for UT2K3 and faster performance)

There are 30.87 !! They are beta and are @ guru3d ! Haven´t tried ´em! - I love the 40.xx series because of it´s better nview stuff, I love the 29.42 for it´s quality and stability!

Unluckily with the 40.72 my tv-out doesn´t work, the 40.71 suck being unstable, the 40.41 have really bad pic quality....

So now I´m using 40.51 - seem stable and quality is not that bad as with 40.41 (not so good as with 40.72 or 29.42 - but acceptable!).

I´m hoping for new Det´s that are stable like 29.42, have the quality of 29.42, the speed of 40.41 and the nview works like in 40.51 !! :D :D :D

you sure the 30.87 drivers are beta? i found it on the ms update so it's likely certified by MS

oyea the det 40.xx drivers are fast but it doesnt work on cs for me.

I use 30.82 GREAT drivers. awesome stability and awesome image quality. the 40.xx are very fast but the image quality SUCKS

According to guru3d the 30.87 have no WHQL certificate neither the Win9x/Me nor the XP/2000!

But sorry - as I mentioned - I didn´t try these drivers so I cannot tell this for sure!
