Does Enermax 350w decrease case temps?

I blew up my old suntek 250w psu. I need a new psu, the temp one I have has no grilles in it and I would imagine this would be bad for temps.

The Enermax has a 90mm fan and a 80mm fan in it. It also has bottom grilles for cpu heat extraction.

Has anyone had a psu change from a 250w to a Enermax 350w and noticed a decrease in cpu/case temps?

Also, will my pc run more stable with an Enermax? And will the lower voltage fluctuations of a Enermax prolong the life of my components?

The only thing I know is that enermax psu's are great.
Idon't have one (yet), but I know somone who does, and he'sv ery pleased with it.
Case temp drop? It's possible, but depends also on other things like fans you have installed already...It won't incease it certainly
stability depends in great extend on your psu, so taking an enermax is certainly good

The Enermax can help lower case temps. How much or how well depends on the overall airflow you have in the case.

The 92mm fan is thermally controlled and has a little thermistor that you can put anywhere. I stuck mine under the waterblock. There is definately more airflow out the back hole so airflow is improved and what I liked is the fact the the inside fan (the 92mm one) is right above the cpu and would help draw the warm air from an air cooled HSF right out the case. That doesn't matter in my situation because I'm watercooled but it's good none the less. Excellent power supply. The wires are LONG though.

Enermax PSU are among the best available and well worth the money. I am using the 431 watt unit and love it.

im looking into the Enermax my generic 300w is crying...is there a way to keep that other fan running all the time? or is it not worth it? in my case i have about a 2-3 inch gap between the PS and the top.. even with my side off it can still get kinda warm up there...would it be effective to mount the temp sensor at the top of the case to act as an exaust fan switch?

Yes just cut off the temp sensor and twist the two wires together and tape.

hey u guys with the new psu's, since u have those LONG wires why dont u mount the psu outside to the back of ur case somehow, or on top?
im asking cause ill be gettin a new one also and am interested in the pros and cons. mainly, i want to add a 120mm panaflo in the top of my case bt only have 3/4 of an inch above my psu. im sure u guys know more about this than my ddrunken ass lol

I aint got a problem with long wires as my case is massive and I have 100s of cable ties. Im definately going to get an Enermax. Cant wait for my pay check.

Oh and mounting your psu outside your case aint pretty although it would probably work!
