I just wanna know what you guys think about what i did to decrease the temps of my cpu and overall system temp. I have 1 cd burner taking its spot in my system and thats it soo... what i did was take out the remaining expansion slot brackets and wedged a sunnon 80mm fan in between the open space and the top floppy drive space. So basically its under my burner and on top of a floppy drive space so its holding it nicely and secure. Now the reason i did this was because i had bad airflow in my case and my idle temps would be at like 46degrees which just wasnt right to me. Now since i put the fan where i did im getting idle temps of 43 and load temps of 46. I wanna learn how to mod my case so i can do this the right way but untill this is gonna have to cut it

Not a bad job. I've heard of other people added fans into a spare drive bay also. If you want to see a ton of case mods, go here

I just but together a quick box to test out Mandrake Linux on. I have two of the infamous failing IBM hard drives. I have to keep these cool or else they get bad sectors & do the "clicking". I took off the 3 1/2" slot covers and popped a 80mm fan between the drives & front of case. Keeps case and the drives nice & cool and a temporary fix.
