internet sharing disconect

i got two comps networked one is win 2000 the other xp i have dialup internet and i know how to share it but every time i close the internet explorer from the remote computer the server tryed to dial again and i dont want it on 24/7 also is there a way to disconect form the remote so i dont have to go to the server evey time?

You can't disconnect remotely with ICS. You can set a timeout so it will hang up after X number of minutes idle.
