Id be interested in this too, since the 172mm seems to be slightly too large for my case.

FrozenCPU has one here (http://www.frozencpu.com/cgi-bin/frozencpu/fan-40.html), but its 50 mm deep. Im not sure whether that's too much, but its a start :)

Thats a decent price for a 12 watt rheo also if i am not mistaken. A bit smaller than the 176mm fans i have as they are sort of hard to fit in a case without modding a 160ish mm fan is nice. These fans will give more airflow and less overall noise per cfm than you would think, my 235 cfm 176mm fan is around the same annoyance factor as a delta 68cfm. Also its much less annoying than a ys-tech 60mm 40 cfm fan. Hope this helps out a bit.

yeah, a buck or two is the going rate i think for that size grill. Probably people see the size of that fan and then visualize their fingers getting cutt off without a grill.....Heheh not that it would but non the less it would hurt alot.
