this enlight EN-7237 case look good for cheap cooling?

those are very very popular cases, and are very roomy. I think they will hold two fans without any modding. You should talk too TT120 about it, he has one of this series of Enlight Cases.

That's what I use. The quality is very good for the price. It comes with two 80mm fan openings, which mod relatively easily for 92mm fans. The 92mm does a much better job and quieter. If you don't already own one, might as well get a nibbler for the 92mm mods. I went one step further and opened up the front fan for a 120mm. With what knowledge I gained, I would not do that again. There was very little improvement in case cooling over the 92mm fan and I had to do some serious cutting. Also, don't bother with the Premier 300W PSU that you can get with the case. It's not a very good PSU. They don't test them before they ship them! Mine arrived with a bad onn/off switch that could never have worked. I had to repair it before I ever got a chance to run it.

That case has 2 extra holes for 80mm fans, 1 in the lower front and 1 in the upper rear right below the power supply. It comes with a fan in the lower front hole. The DD cube with a 120mm fan fits perfectly in the lower front right below the floppy/hard drive cage. I cut the entire lower front out of mine to improve airflow through the radiator. I also cut 2 80mm holes with room for a 3rd in the side cover vent blowing in on the MoBo. A window fits perfectly right above those fans with a neon light sitting upright right along the back edge. I drilled out the vent holes in the front cover and added another set of them right above the original ones. All in all it's a pretty decent case. Nice and compact and looks good. Like Hoot said, though, dump the supply that comes with it and get an Enermax or something for it.

thanks for the advice guys. i was doing more searching and i came upon this enermax case (http://www.crazypc.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=120199&Product_Code=8111) including a PS. it also have 2 spots for 80mm fans. one in front and back. but i'm wondering. is that PS that comes with the case good enough? should up it to a 350watts? thanks for the help

I have 2 EN-7237 cases and am very happy with them. Very nice quality for the money. The right combination of fans seems to be a Sanyo-Denki 92mm 55cfm in the lower front and a Panflow 80mm 47cfm exaust behind the cpu. With this combination and a Hedgehog/Delta38 sucking it will keeps my TBird @ 1440 in the mid 20's idle and mid 30's full load.

There is room to add a DD Cube and 120mm in the front but I like a full tower for water cooling much better because there is no problem fitting everything inside the case and still keeping the inside clutter free. Especially when using pelts and an extra PSU.

ahh. thanks for to info on the EN-7237 case... but i think i fell in love with the enermax case now. but heres a related question. its suppose to be 80mm fans...... so how do you use a 92mm fan? just drill some holes into the case?

I use a nibble tool from Radio Shack to enlarge existing holes. A drill and hole saw to make holes in virgin areas.

Also remove the grills that are cut in the case, they just have a stamping done to make slots in the sheet metal and this restricts air flow somewhat. Use regular wire fan guards instead.

darn.. i dont have the tools for making holes into my case.. i've been looking all over but i cant find a decent case.. (sub $100 w/ a good PS) that have bigger holes.. (92mm+). . . . any recomandations?

Have a look at the Yeong Yang Lunar 5402 at http://www.kdcomputers.com . $80, shipped. Two 120mm fan mounts, 1 front, 1 rear. I bought an Enlight 7237 recently. Its design is excellent, but its quality is so so.
