View Full Version : Delta and Sanyo Denki Fan Question...
I currently have a Sanyo Denki 80mm Fan on my MC-462a HSF ,and i was wondering, since i'm getting a Delta 80mm 68 cfm fan soon, could i put one on top of the other, to increase airflow ? Should I ? And if so in what order should they go on first, Delta then the Sanyo or vice versa ? Or is it too heavy.
No, the Delta is kind of a unique design among axial fans and should be run by itself. Put the 80mm on your case.

stacking fans is not really worth anything... rather put the delta on the hsf and use the other fan as a case fan.
k, well i'm not sure what to do with it, since i have no more spots left. Should i drill a hole in the top of my case for the 80mm or not and if so do i want it to suck or blow ?
Also i'll have those 4 other 80mm deltas and 2 120mm in the door so far. Do i need more? I really don't wanna one in the tower roof, but if it'll help then i'll do it.
Yeah, I forgot about those other Deltas. Save it for a rainy day.

Just replaced my Sanyo with the Delta on my 426-A it's running +3c over the sanyo. Don't know why? (see fan & fingers) I have a 120 in front and two 80 in the back. (one new delta) I reversed the the case fan when I put the new delta on. The 120 is blowing out the front and the to 80's are blowing in the back right on the 426-A with the delta on top. (What I can't hear you! it's like having a jet engine running in here) I'm going to install switches to turn the case fans on one at a time. When needed.
