i think, if u use slow timing setting, it'll work...

Well if you are focusing on RAM specifically, I've seen SDR go up to 166FSB CAS2. The manufacture of the ram was Tonicom which is hard to find. There's also Kingmax PC150 which usually does around PC-150 CAS2 and up to 160 CAS3, and Crucial PC133 CAS2 usually does up to PC150 CAS3. I know Kingmax can be found @ CrazyPC.com

I had some PC100 doing 147 @ CAS3, but I was pumping extra voltage into it.

I've got PC133 doing 140 @ CAS2, with only a little extra volts.

My mobo is defaulted to 3.45 instead of 3.3 and can go up to 3.6V

some oem's better than hi-quality mems,
i don't know why, but quality factor not so important in sd's...

Yea, I think whereismy386 is correct, I got some unknown RAM and it would do 148 @ CAS2 when it's cool, I'm pumping 3.6v to the I/O

when u say ur com is on slow setting, do u mean normal mode instead of turbo?? and if i set my com to turbo mode does it damage my cpu??

and turbo setting not damaged anything,
it just boost up some adressing speed...

155 was my limit on my 800MHz T-Bird, forgot what brand RAM it was.. but it wasnt the cheap stuff or the expensive stuff.

i have had my PC-133 256MB CL2 samsung up to 143 CAS2 and 155 CAS3 at stock voltage. i'm not sure if the ram is holding me back though, eventually i'll remove all the PCI cards and try to get it higher.

i know my NIC craps out at 150 and my sound at 154. i'm not sure about my MX400, that might be what's holding my under 155.

no, i think 266 and 400 ddr have no real performance difference...
we need ddr2 or whatever, a new mem technology

dual channel ddr is coming to the p4 (granite bay) and I believe nforce2.....
PC133 usually runs PC150 without too many probs unless its unbraded crap memory. I have PC133@150 in my 8kta3 in my sig. U used to be able get PC150 Ram from www.overclockers.co.uk so I am sure many places do it.
