anyone know if this card is worth the $192?
im looking to upgrade from a gf3 ti500 to a pretty overclockable gf4. (ti4200~ti4400).
ive been told to get the leadtec ti4400.
Does anyone have either of these cards? if so what are you getting in clock speeds?
320/680 for now, room is too hot to OC further...but my friend got his to 340/720, with ambinet temp of 10C, 100% stable!!!
I'm waiting on my H2O project to complete, and IMHO, this card is worth every pennies of the $192.
As for the LeadTek, it OC good too, but the Albatron Turbo will beat it in OCing.

Well, you have a xp1600+ too, and u only get 13k? i have a gf3ti500 and i got 11,2xx.. so i dunno if spending 200 for that same of a gain is worth it... ill have to see what other ppl say.
other then my monitor, my gf3 is the longest hardware ive had. i usualy buy and sell things as soon as new ones come out :)

Oh, just 64pts more then 14K.;)
If you are looking for the best Ti4200, this is it.
If you are looking for a Ti4600 in sheep coat, this is it.
edit: Have you send in your 11,2xx scores to the team yet?

All the data/reviews I've looked at make this card sound really damn good, but I haven't seen real world performance. I just spend $350 on a Mobo, XMS 3200 Ram, and some copper heatsinks, so I have to wait a few weeks before I buy this card. But as of right now, this is the card I WILL be buying unless something better comes out, or this card is shown to have faults.

Would I be better off getting this card for $192 or getting, say, an EVGA Ti4600 card for $225 or so?

I'd actually get the albatron, heard great things about its overclocking abilities here and elsewhere... the evga is likely "lower end" in having sub-par memory and quality core... you're morelikely to get a winner with albatron than with evga.

Top score for Ti4200 is 14700, from XtremeSystem's 3dMark Team. I'm currently sitting at 7th. Come join the first page:beer:

if i can hit 11k with a gf3ti5 and a 1600+ then i think after my 1600 is water cooled, and i get this 4200 then hopefully i can. just depeneds on my mobo. i have an at7, but it doesnt seem to do that well. at least i have to use older bios to get a good score, the newer ones dropped me horribly.
