Problems with browsing!!!

Well, I just got a new micr atx duron 800 up and running with 98se and am now having problems opening any browser. I can see everything on the network but when I load explorer I get a illegal operation.

it says iexplore caused an invalid page fault in module <unknown> 0000:00c41178

I installed opera from the network and it says the same except with 0000:01d43f3f ???

Anyone have any input as to what I should do?

Have you gone to windowsupdate.microsoft.com and installed the patches?

What version of IE are you using now?

Hey, thanks for the reply. I actually got it going by using another hard drive and doing a clean install. :( Anyhoo, ya I tried that but I couldn't start explorer to even get there:(

All i can suggest is try a search engine....
Most search engines turn up useful info most of the time....

you have to run a bunch of debug commands to fix stuff like that (fixes automatically)

I can't find it right off, but your best best is always a fresh install
