I just put together this systme (see signature) and was having trouble with the games just vanishing. I tried the new detonator driver for my ti4200, I had a freind r8un a memory terst on it and the test indicated that the machine was set for ecc when it detected non-ecc rdram. Funny, because i had ecc in there. Anyways i changed the cmos setting to non-ecc, and everything ran fine for a while. Now I keep getting the bsod whenever I play a grahic intensive game. I tried lowering the multiplier to run the 1066 memory at 800 and still get it. When the bsod appears it gives me some memory address, ands does not indicate that there is a problem with any of the drivers.
I am a little frustrated consideering i spent a little extra for what i intended to build and cannot get the system to run stable.
Any feedback would be appreciated.

hm.. well i would start out by doing the usuals :)

- check your temps

- check your voltages

- clear the cmos

- see if there is a new bios flash available for your board

- take everything out except CPU, memory, and graphics card, try running some benchies or burn-in tests see if it locks up

- try reseating your memory

thats some off the top of my head, you didnt say what OS you were using which is important and will help us help you :)

also a note, on more than one occasion i have had systems that i was building for clients just BSOD and lock up constantly, it wasnt until i reseated the motherboard, and put those little cardboard/rubber washers down between the board and the case that it went away, something was shorting out the board.. so check out that for sure.

Okay ill start with the firt suggestion with mem, gc, and cpu only. Oh.... And the os is Xp. I dont think I put those little washers in.
Thanks for all the "usuals", cause they were not usuals to me.
