I overclocked a DULL :)

Lol... i picked up another 600Mhz celeron for this dull today poped it in and installed CpuFSb and I got it from 600 Mhz to 670.... thats all that cpu FSB allows haha but i did it :) how many other ppl here OC'd dell's ? many ?

I killed my DULL PII266 by overclocking it to 340.
I put in PC100 RAM and crawled the FSB upto 85mhz. It lasted a good 3 months at that speed before it terminally BSODed on me.

I later upgraded to a Celeron 533 on a slotket and it wouldn't go past 575mhz (72fsb - 8x multi).

I have my HP Pavilion 6730 w/ Celeron 600/66Mhz fsb @ 750Mhz/82Mhz fsb using CPUFSB. Not bad overclocking for an HP! :P

nope :) not at all :) hopefuly ill be able to get my FSB higher soon. just gotta get some new software fromt he guy who makes CPUfsb :) he's making it allow a higher FSB for my mobo :)
