I have a goldengate 40 right now!!. it has a ys tech fan which sounds really annoying. I heard about alpha heatsinks being pretty good. But sucks out. i have an sidefan that blows in will that make any my tempertures rise higher since its suppose to be sucking out that makes the alpha work well?. reccomend some hsf for me... i kind want a lil silence.... my fan right now has 48db... on a 60mm it has an annoying ring to it.

You could always turn the fan around to exaust, rather than blow in.

that fan is pretty strong. I homemade it so i can stick it to a powerplug then using psu power. This fan is stripped from engraving machines. So its pretty strong, i believe its made out of metal of some sort. My bed is right next to the blow in whole so if it was an exhaust it would blow the crap out of me =X

Any really good heatsink (read: Thermalright) will do. Id recommend an SLK-800, SK-7, or AX-7, depending on your spending ability. Either get a good Panaflo fan, or get something like the Tornado and put a rheostat on it, or get the Thermaltake Smart Fan II that comes with the rheo.
