Ok, my mic doesnt seem to be working in Counter-Strike. As far as I can tell from my side, it seems to work perfectly. I get feedback from the speakers, when I press my mic key, the little symbol shows up on my screen, but it does not go through. My friend says that not only is there no sound, the little box with my name in it doesnt even pop up.

I've tried switching keys, using a key in the Secondary spot. I've tried reinstalling. I did that little Voice Config program that comes with Half-Life.

However, I believe I fixed it once by using the console commands to bind voice record to one key, then bind it back to the original and it worked, but I think the next time I played CS it wasn't working again.

If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this, I'd be grateful, if not, does anyone at least know the command to bind a key to voice record? :eh?:

If you want to hear yourself talk, type in this in console:

voice_loopback 1

To answer your question, I really don't know.

im guessing you are using a sound blaster live value card?

If so go to csnation and look in the trouble shooting page, you need to copy a piece of text into the properties for the cs icon.
