does any1 know how good an abit kd7 mb is when ocing an amd xp 2400

The KD7 is a good motherboard. It should give you the option for all the multipliers WITHOUT having to unlock the chip. There are a few problems I know about it though. People complain that it gets too hot, and that the south bridge really should have a HeatSink on it. Undervolting has also been an issue. Overall you should like the board. :)

i got a kd7 and it has a 6multiplier option... [duno if it works] my 2400 is unlocked with it lol yes my board temps are higher then my cpu lol

mine says 18 but i have not flashed with the latest i blelieve it raises with a flash... perhaps i need to flash..... i cant get mine to boot at 18x133 i can get 17 though

it will probably help if u flashed it with my duron chip i couldn't oc it than i flashed my borad the next thing i knew i had the fsb to 166 and does the mb have on die temps
